If not, problems arise such as blank screens after boot up or reduced resolutions and no way to change anything. The VGA DDC Ghost eliminates these troubles by giving the option to choose between the built-in in DDC Emulation table or by reading the true EDID information from a displaying device and writing it into its non-volatile memory. And then being hooked into the videolink directly behind the graphic adapter card.
