Missing DDC information causes more and more trouble also with analog VGA video signals. Modern operating systems and graphic adapter cards expect to see DCC/EDID information coming from the sink. If not, problems arise such as blank screens after boot up or reduced resolutions and no way to change anything. The VGA DDC Ghost eliminates these troubles by giving the option to choose between the built-in in DDC Emulation table or by reading the true EDID information from a displaying device and writing it into its non-volatile memory. And then being hooked into the videolink directly behind the graphic adapter card.
Now you can use your existing KVM Switches and Extender without DDC support also with the newest high resolution equipment without hazel. Your computer will boot correctly even if a monitor port is not active or if the attached monitor was replaced.
